Individual Therapy:
Individual therapy involves working one-on-one with a therapist around your specific issues and current concerns. Working with an individual therapist can help you gain important insight and learn tools to make the changes that you want in your life. It is important to feel comfortable with to your individual therapist in order to have a good working relationship. For this reason, Boulder Therapy Center provides an initial consultation to help determine the appropriate individual therapist for you.
Couples Therapy:
Couples therapy involves two individuals in a relationship working with a single therapist around relationship issues and concerns. Couples therapy can be extremely helpful for couples wanting to better understand each other, change communication patterns, and/or negotiate through stressful life period. It is important for both individuals in a couple to feel comfortable with the therapist they select. For this reason, Boulder Therapy Center provides an initial consultation to help determine the appropriate therapist for each couple’s specific needs.
Family Therapy:
Family therapy involves all or some members of a family working together with one therapist around current concerns and family dynamic issues. Family therapy can be extremely helpful in improving communication patterns and shifting family dynamics in a positive direction. It is important (and often challenging) to find a therapist that is a ‘good fit’ for all participating members of a family. For this reason, Boulder Therapy Center provides an initial consultation to help determine the appropriate therapist for each family’s specific needs.
Age Range:
Our therapists specialize in working with adults and adolescents. If you need services for children, we would be happy to provide you with an outside referral.
