Cost

What is the cost of therapy?
Boulder Therapy Center offers individual, couple and family therapy with a variety of therapists. Therapist fees range depending on academic degree, level of experience, and licensure.  Current fees range from $40 - $135 per hour long session, with sliding scale options available.

Can I use my insurance to cover the cost of therapy?
Therapy sessions are fee for service, meaning you pay at the time of service.  If you have mental health benefits through your health insurance, you may be reimbursed for all or part of the fee.  If you do not have mental health coverage or your coverage is poor, sliding scale and reduced fee options are available. When you call to schedule your initial consultation, we can collect your insurance information to check your benefits.

How can I pay?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Many people find it convenient to put a credit card on file to be charged every time they come in for a session. At the end of each month we will send you a statement reflecting services you have received and payments submitted.
