About

Philosophy

Boulder Therapy operates under the direction of Dr. Malia Sperry. The type of therapy Dr. Sperry practices is based on an integrative theoretical model incorporating therapeutic techniques from varied orientations according to individual need.

One of the most important elements of successful therapy is a positive and collaborative relationship between an individual and his/her therapist. Dr. Sperry believes that the best work is done when individuals seeking therapy feel comfortable and work together with their therapist to come to a joint understanding of challenges and helpful ways to work on them. In keeping with this philosophy, Boulder Therapy strives to help individuals find a therapist with whom they feel they can have a good working relationship.
